I’m Nathalie Somerset, the founder of Somerset Blooms, based in Liverpool. I established my wedding floral design business in 2021 with a clear vision: to blend eco-consciousness with luxury, creating elegant, nature-inspired arrangements that don’t cost the Earth.

What began with just £40, a bucket of handpicked flowers, and the dream of becoming an eco-friendly wedding florist has grown into a beautiful and fulfilling journey.

As a proud member of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance, I collaborate with other professionals in the wedding industry to reduce our collective environmental impact. 

At Somerset Blooms, sustainability is at the heart of every design, whether it’s a small bouquet or an expansive installation - the planet always comes first in everything we create.

Nature is my greatest inspiration, and I find true joy in all its wonders. My happy place is wandering through woodlands, walking my dog by the lakeside, and tending to my chemical-free garden. The joy of using flowers I’ve grown from seed in my clients' designs is unmatched.

I’ve had the privilege of training in Sustainable Wedding Floristry with the talented Philippa Craddock, renowned for designing the wedding flowers for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018.

From my home studio in Liverpool, I proudly serve clients across Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester, Warrington, and North Wales, creating meaningful and sustainable floral designs for weddings and events.
