We are a heritage-led floral atelier, guided by nature, quiet luxury, and exceptional craftsmanship. Each design is created with intention, sustainability, and kindness, delivering a considered and industry-leading client experience.

I’m Nathalie Somerset, founder of Somerset Blooms, a luxury floral design studio covering the North-West and beyond, specialising in corporate projects, weddings, workshops, and bespoke commissions.

I established Somerset Blooms in 2021 with a clear purpose: to bridge the divide between eco-conscious design and luxury, creating refined, nature-led florals with thoughtfulness, integrity, and care at their core. From the outset, my work has been guided by kindness - towards clients, collaborators, and the materials I work with, ensuring every design is intentional, balanced, and enduring.

What began with a modest investment of £40, a bucket of freshly cut flowers, and a clear vision has grown into an exclusive floral atelier. Today, Somerset Blooms undertakes a carefully selected number of commissions each year, allowing full creative focus on projects where we can add the greatest value - designing meaningful floral experiences that enhance a space and elevate an occasion rather than simply providing flowers.

Our approach is calm, collaborative, and meticulous. Exceptional work emerges through trust, shared vision, and space for creativity to unfold naturally. Every project is thoughtfully developed, with each stem placed with purpose, ensuring designs feel effortless yet refined.

Nature remains the greatest source of inspiration. Quiet landscapes, woodland walks, lakeside strolls, and tending my own flower and herb garden inform the work we create. Incorporating flowers grown from seed brings a profound sense of connection and joy to each design.

I have been professionally trained in sustainable wedding floristry by Philippa Craddock, internationally recognised for designing the wedding flowers for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. This training continues to inform our approach to design, technique, and material choices, executed with discretion and care.

From our Liverpool studio, Somerset Blooms works with clients across the North-West and beyond, creating timeless, nature-inspired floral designs for those who value quality, intention, and quiet luxury.
