An Autumnal Wedding at Ashfield House

Set within the intimate elegance of Ashfield House, this autumnal wedding was a rich and atmospheric celebration, filled with abundant florals, layered textures, and a deeply immersive seasonal palette. The floral design embraced the warmth of autumn, creating a space that felt both luxurious and deeply connected to nature.

Palette & Composition
A beautifully grounded palette of rich burgundy and burnt orange formed the foundation of the design, softened with pops of mustard, coral, peach, and red. These tones worked harmoniously together, creating a warm, enveloping atmosphere that perfectly complimented the character of the venue and the season. The florals were intentionally abundant and foliage-led, adding depth, movement, and a natural sense of fullness throughout the space.

Bridal Florals
My Bride carried a seasonal posy-style bouquet, designed to feel effortlessly gathered yet refined. Full of autumnal blooms and tonal richness, it echoed the wider floral story while maintaining a soft, romantic focus. A thoughtful finishing detail saw the Groom wear a handcrafted pocket square, carefully designed to mirror the bouquet, bringing a beautifully personal and coordinated touch to their styling.

Ceremony Styling
The ceremony featured a striking all-foliage table garland, running the length of the space and creating a grounded, organic focal point. This was complimented by foliage pew ends, elegantly tied to Chiavari chairs with soft chiffon orange ribbon. The overall effect was refined yet natural, allowing the ceremony setting to feel immersive without overwhelming the space.

Reception Styling
The wedding breakfast tables were designed to feel warm, intimate, and atmospheric. Layered candlelight created a soft glow throughout the room, enhanced by oak styling props and bud vases filled with richly coloured blooms. The combination of texture, tone, and light made the space feel deeply inviting and cocoon-like.

To extend the design further, wall sconces were also styled with coordinating bud vases, ensuring every corner of the room felt cohesive. This thoughtful layering allowed the entire space to feel fully transformed and uniquely theirs.

Overall
The result was a beautifully immersive autumn wedding that balanced abundance with intimacy. With its rich seasonal palette, foliage-led design, and carefully considered details, the day at Ashfield House felt warm, personal, and effortlessly elegant from start to finish.
