Created to celebrate the launch of EGO Official's latest collection alongside Olivia Dean's Manchester performance, this collaborative influencer event transformed fashion, music, and floristry into one thoughtfully curated brand experience.
Hosted at The Alan Hotel, Manchester, the event celebrated The Art of Loving - Olivia Dean's album inspired by love, femininity, and self-expression, while showcasing EGO Official's new collection, which embraced the same soft, romantic aesthetic. The floral designs became an extension of both brands, bringing together fashion, music, and botanical artistry in a way that felt joyful, elevated, and memorable.
The brief was to create floral gifts that reflected Olivia Dean's unmistakable style while complementing EGO Official's latest collection.
The flowers needed to embody softness, femininity, and contemporary romance while remaining practical for a fast-paced influencer event. Guests would carry their bouquets throughout the day, from the launch event at The Alan Hotel to Olivia Dean's concert later that evening, before taking them home as a lasting reminder of the experience.
Every design therefore needed to be beautiful, durable, and intrinsically linked to the story of the collaboration.
Inspired by the warmth and optimism of The Art of Loving, the floral collection embraced a palette of soft blush, peach, buttery yellow, lilac, and muted pastel tones, echoing both Olivia Dean's personal style and the EGO Official collection.
The designs celebrated modern femininity through natural textures, delicate movement, and sculptural forms. Rather than creating traditional bouquets, the intention was to produce floral pieces that felt stylish, contemporary, and effortlessly wearable, an extension of the event's creative direction and visual identity.
Every bouquet was individually composed to reflect the shared values of both brands: confidence, creativity, joy, and self-expression.
To ensure the bouquets remained beautiful throughout the event and beyond, I chose to work with carefully curated home-dried florals.
This allowed every arrangement to withstand changing temperatures, travel comfortably between venues, and retain its beauty long after the event had ended. Rather than being enjoyed for only a few days, each bouquet became a lasting keepsake, a reminder of the collaboration that guests could continue to display in their homes.
The decision reflected a thoughtful approach to both sustainability and longevity, allowing the floral design to continue telling the story of the event long after the final song had been played.
Presentation formed an important part of the overall experience.
Each bouquet was carefully wrapped and presented inside bespoke EGO Official canvas bouquet bags, transforming the flowers into a luxury gift rather than simply an event accessory.
Designed to be carried effortlessly throughout the day, the branded bags elevated the unboxing experience while seamlessly integrating Somerset Blooms' floral artistry with EGO Official's contemporary fashion identity. Every detail was considered to ensure the gifting experience felt cohesive, premium, and worthy of sharing.
The bouquets quickly became an integral part of the event experience.
Guests carried their floral designs from the launch celebration through to Olivia Dean's Manchester performance, naturally incorporating them into photographs, content creation, and social media throughout the day. The flowers became more than decorative pieces, they became part of the storytelling, reinforcing the themes of femininity, creativity, and celebration that connected both the album and the fashion collection.
The decision to create everlasting bouquets also meant the experience extended beyond the event itself, allowing guests to take home a meaningful reminder of the collaboration while continuing to engage with both brands long afterwards.
The collaboration demonstrated how floral design can strengthen a brand campaign through thoughtful storytelling and elevated gifting.
By translating the mood of The Art of Loving into botanical form, the flowers became an authentic extension of the campaign, enriching the guest experience while creating highly shareable, beautifully curated moments. The combination of music, fashion, and floristry resulted in an immersive brand activation that celebrated creativity, connection, and modern femininity.
The Olivia Dean × EGO Official collaboration showcased the power of flowers as a storytelling medium.
Through carefully considered design, thoughtful material choices, and an elevated gifting experience, the floral collection became more than a bouquet, it became part of the campaign's identity, creating a lasting connection between the brands and their guests.
A celebration of love, style, and creativity, the collaboration demonstrated how floral design can transform an event into an experience that lingers long after the day itself.
