Plas Maenan: A Dreamy Pastel Wedding Aesthetic

Set within the ornate elegance of The Old Palace Chester, T & A’s wedding embraced a regal-inspired aesthetic that perfectly complimented the venue’s historic detailing. The space provided a refined backdrop for a celebration rooted in timeless luxury and understated grandeur.

Bridal Style

The bride wore an absolute showstopping gown, styled with Grace Kelly–inspired pearl-detailed white gloves, creating a look that felt classic and effortlessly refined. Every detail reflected the overall vision: elegant, poised, and beautifully composed.

Floral Concept

The floral direction was centred around a rose-led brief, designed to feel timeless, soft and elevated. A palette of nude, ivory and white roses formed the foundation, with minimal greenery used intentionally to maintain a clean, sleek finish. Where greenery was introduced, mimosa was chosen for its soft, silvery tone, adding a subtle shimmer and delicate texture to the compositions.

Bridal Party Florals

Rose-heavy posies were created for the bridal party, each carefully composed to mirror the refined palette and elegant styling of the bride. The continuity of tone ensured a cohesive visual story, enhancing the sense of sophistication throughout.

Buttonholes

The buttonholes were designed to match the bridal bouquets, maintaining consistency across every floral detail. Minimal and elegant, they completed the overall aesthetic.

Overall

The result was a beautifully regal celebration, where ornate architecture met timeless floral design, and every element was curated to feel elegant, cohesive, and enduringly refined.
