Plas Maenan: A Dreamy Pastel Wedding Aesthetic

Set high within the North Welsh hills, Plas Maenan provided a breathtaking, private setting for this romantic celebration. With sweeping views and an exclusive-use atmosphere, the venue became a true canvas for a fully immersive floral story, designed to feel like a real-life fairytale unfolding in nature.

The design was created as a romantic floral meadow: wild, untamed, and beautifully layered. A soft pastel palette of blush pinks, lilacs, pale blue, ivory, white and lemon tones brought a gentle vibrancy to the space, echoing the natural landscape while adding a sense of dreamlike colour and movement.

The ceremony space was anchored by a flowing aisle meadow, designed to feel as though it had grown naturally into the setting. Large handcrafted urns framed the ceremony focal point, adding height, structure and elegance while still maintaining a soft, garden-inspired feel.

The bridal bouquet was designed in an airy, garden-style composition featuring gerberas, roses and dahlias. Finished with draping chiffon ribbon, it was created with movement in mind, softly catching the breeze in outdoor moments and adding a sense of effortless romance to photography and film.

Inside the wedding breakfast space, the design shifted into a refined, candle-led aesthetic. Floral elements were layered with abundant candlelight to create a warm, intimate atmosphere, balancing softness with understated elegance.

The meadow-inspired design continued outdoors, framing the champagne tower with loose, natural florals that felt effortlessly placed within the landscape. This created a seamless transition between structured celebration and the wild beauty of the surrounding grounds.
