Sefton Palm House: Botanical meets English Garden

Set within the light-filled glasshouse of Sefton Palm House, A & J’s wedding brought together botanical surroundings with the softness of an English garden. The floral design was created to feel completely at ease in the space.

Palette & Composition

A gentle palette of blush and ivory was layered with a mix of fresh, natural greens. Hints of lime-toned foliage were woven through the centrepieces, subtly reflecting the surrounding trees and creating a sense of flow between the florals and their setting.

Bridal Florals

My Bride's bouquet was designed to feel soft, romantic and full of movement. Dahlias and David Austin roses were paired with astilbe, phlox, nigella and lisianthus, each chosen for their texture and delicacy. The result was a bouquet that invited the eye to linger, revealing new details with every glance.

Reception Styling

For the reception, the designs took on a slightly more structured, botanical feel. Centrepieces were thoughtfully created to hold tall candles, allowing the space to transition effortlessly into the evening, gently lit with a warm glow.

The Top Table

The top table florals were a true focal point, lush yet refined. Taper candles were carefully set within the design itself, allowing the arrangement to feel seamless and complete, as though every element naturally belonged together.

Finishing Touch

A particularly thoughtful detail was the couple’s choice of botanical-inspired favours: small potted plants that reflected their love of nature and echoed the wider aesthetic of the day.

Overall

The result was a wedding that felt elegant and personal, where botanical structure met the romance of an English garden, and every floral detail was designed with intention and purpose to deliver the dream wedding that A & J wished for.
